NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- At least 20 passengers on a Brooklyn subway train were overcome by pepper spray when someone discharged the irritant during a fight Saturday night, police said.

Two people were arguing on a No. 2 train when one of them shot the pepper spray, filling their subway car with noxious mist, according to police.

Almost two dozen of the straphangers who were aboard the train were treated near the Beverly Road station in East Flatbush. Fire officials said all of the injuries were minor.

No arrests have been made; police said the two people involved in the fight took off after the pepper spray was discharged.

Trains were delayed in both directions on the No. 2 line following the incident, according to the MTA.
