NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — An MTA bus was taken for a joyride Tuesday morning, marking the third time in one month that a city bus has been stolen.

The bus was parked at 165th Street and South Road in Jamaica when somebody jumped aboard and drove it to Cypress Hills in Brooklyn.

The bus was empty at the time of the theft and was found at Liberty Avenue and Conduit Boulevard with no damage.

The NYPD says no arrests have been made.

The MTA is working with police to track down the people responsible for the three thefts.

The other two buses were stolen in the Bronx and Queens days before Christmas.
