NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- The White House is a living museum of American history.

It features a collection of fine and decorative arts by a variety of American and European artists.

And it now also includes a painting of President Donald Trump drinking a Diet Coke along with Abraham Lincoln, Richard Nixon and Theodore Roosevelt.

It's called "The Republicans Club" and was painted by a Missouri artist named Andy Thomas.

Social media was buzzing after the painting was spotted on a wall in the White House during Lesley Stahl's "60 Minutes" interview with Trump that aired Sunday.

Thomas told The Washington Post the president told him he's seen a lot of pictures depicting him and he rarely likes them but he liked this one.

The painting hanging in Trump's personal dining room in the White House is a high-quality laser print. The original remains in Thomas' studio.

In 2008, Thomas painted a similar group portrait calling it "The Democratic Club," featuring Barack Obama, John F. Kennedy, Bill Clinton and Andrew Jackson.
