NEW YORK (AP) -- Authorities say 300 gallons of diesel fuel have spilled in a basement of a Times Square hotel.

The spill was reported at 8:30 a.m. in a sub-cellar of the Knickerbocker Hotel at West 41st Street and Broadway, according to the FDNY.

No injuries have been reported.

An FDNY spokesman says it will take a considerable amount of time to clean up the spill.

The Office of Emergency Management tweeted that drivers should expect traffic delays and road closures in the area because of the heavy presence of emergency personnel.
