NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — After two years of renovations, Apple on Tuesday announced its Fifth Avenue store will reopen next week.

The official opening will happen on Sept. 20, which happens to be the same day the company’s new iPhone 11 Pro will be available in retail stores across the world.

Apple has been teasing the store's reopening for several days and recently unveiled a redesign of the famous crystal cube building — which is now iridescent.

When the store reopens, however, the iridescent film will be taken off and the glass cube will be returned to normal.

According to the tech company, the Fifth Avenue store is much larger and will be open 24 hours every day.

The Fifth Avenue store is expected to become the largest Apple store in the world.
