Connecticut May Join NY In Push To End Religious Exemption For Vaccinations

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Connecticut may soon join New York in a push to end the religious exemption for vaccinations

This comes after new data released Friday showed some Connecticut school districts with double digit percentages of students who skipped out on vaccines because of their religion or medical reasons.

In Redding for example, that number was 38 percent. 

More than 100 schools in the nutmeg state do not meet the 95 percent immunization rate for measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines among kindergarten students.
