Cops Identify Suspect In Queens Double Homicide

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — Authorities have identified as person of interest in connection to a double-homicide inside a Flushing apartment Wednesday.

The NYPD announced on Friday they are searching for Sai Chun Lam, 52, and provided a photo in the hopes of tracking down the suspect.

The incident was reported just after 10 a.m. on Nov, 14, police responded to a call of two unconscious individuals inside a second floor apartment on 37th Ave. between Parsons Boulevard and 147th Street.

Authorities found two adults unresponsive with multiple stab wounds to their torsos.

EMS responded and pronounced the victims deceased at the scene. They were later identified as Deyu Zhal, 64, and Chunfu Liu, 67, and were reportedly a married couple.

The person of interest is described as an Asian male, standing at around 5-foot-7 and weighing approximately 200 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes.
