Holy Cow!: NYPD Corrals Animal Running Loose In The Bronx
NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — A cow was running loose on a Bronx highway Tuesday morning.
It’s unclear where the animal came from, but it has been running loose on the Major Deegan Expressway shortly before noon.

Video from the CBS2 Chopper showed police responding, wrangling the brown cow between the Cross Bronx Expressway and Yankee Stadium exits.
The cow was not harmed and will be transported to Skyland Animal Sanctuary and Rescue.

The incident comes nearly a week after a baby lamb had to be rescued from the Gowanus Expressway.
The lamb, named Petunia after her rescue, was on the run from a nearby slaughterhouse and also taken under the care of Skylands.
