NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – The dream continues for New Jersey's Elmora Troopers.

The Little League team from Elizabeth, New Jersey, will take to the field Sunday afternoon in Williamsport as they try to move a step closer to becoming World Series champions.

First the Elmora Troopers steamrolled Haverstraw 19-4 to take the Mid-Atlantic Championship.

Then they dispatched Oregon 6-2 to open up the Little League World Series tournament.

The next test for the Jersey boys comes in the form of the West Division winners, Little Leaguers from Wailuku, Hawaii, with the first pitch set for Sunday afternoon.

Six buses packed with fans traveled to Pennsylvania to see the team play.

If you aren't able to make it to Williamsport, Elizabeth Mayor Chris Bollwage has already announced the watch party. It will be at the Trooper’s home diamond at Hanratty Field on Westfield Avenue in Elizabeth.
