Good Samaritan Saves Girl Who Fell Onto D-Train Tracks In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Someone was watching over a little girl. She fell onto the tracks at a D station in Brooklyn and only suffered minor injuries.

The 6-year-old had gotten seperated from her mom when they got off the train. As the train started to pull away, she ran after it. Cops say she was dragged a few feet by the train before falling onto the tracks at the Atlantic Ave-Barclays Center Station.

Someone alerted the police and the train was stopped.

A good Samaritan pulled the girl to safety, her mother injured her ankle when she jumped onto the tracks to help her daughter.

Both mother and daughter were taken to the hospital in stable condition.
