NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- A Google employee has broken a world record for calculating Pi to 31.4 trillion digits.

Her name is Emma Haruka Iwao. She's in Japan and we'll have to take her word for it, because how would we even know otherwise?

Actually, Guinness certified her achievement Wednesday a day before Pi Day, which is today, 3-14.

She used 25 Google cloud virtual machines to generate the number, and says this was a childhood dream of hers.
