NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Illegal guns, drugs, and fake law enforcement gear were all found inside of a Queens home.

Kevin Nugent's home stands out on a block of 245th Street. Three black security cameras surround the home's front entrance, pointing not only at whoever would be trying to get in, but also anyone walking nearby on the sidewalk.

The NYPD says a raid on Nugent's home turned up a pistol, a shotgun, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. They say he also had items that could be used to pretend that he was a member of law enforcement including business cards from the NYPD, ATF and FBI with Nugent's name on them.

One neighbor said he was scared and shocked to hear about the discovery.

"When I came last night I was shocked, I never expected this sort of guy could be living in my neighborhood," he said.

Nugent now faces charges that could put him away for 15 years.
