Police Launch Criminal Investigation After Sex Acts Caught On Video At Hoboken Bar
HOBOKEN, N.J. (WCBS 880) -- A criminal investigation has been launched and a New Jersey bar is in danger of losing its liquor license after a promotion party at the establishment last Saturday got out of hand with the entertainment turning X-rated.
Graphic videos circulating on social media show people performing lewd acts on a half naked woman as she is showered with champagne at The Hub in Hoboken.
"While these acts are going on, the promoter was standing over the participants with a large camera on top of the bar filming the activities," Hoboken Corporation Counsel Brian Aloia.

The bar issued an apology on its Instagram page.
"On behalf of management, ownership, staff and all involved in our business, we would like to extend a sincere apology for the deplorable and unfortunate incident that took place on the evening of Saturday, September 8th. The actions of the individuals are by no means behavior we allow, permit nor promote," the statement read.
Hoboken's mayor called the incident an "affront to human decency" and a "horrific objectification of women." He wants to strip The Hub of its liquor license.
In a message to the promoter, Aloia says "You're not welcome in Hoboken."
He's warning other bar owners that "if you participate in these types of activities your license will be revoked."
The police have opened a criminal investigation.
