Man Dies After Being Struck By Dump Truck In Bronx Hit-And-Run

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — Police say a man was fatally struck by a dump truck in a Bronx hit-and-run accident early Tuesday morning.
The incident happened on the Bruckner Blvd. service road near Country Club Road in the Pelham Bay section of the borough.
Authorities say the unidentified man parked his car on the service road and was attempting to cross the street when he was struck by a dump truck, headed north, at around 5 a.m.
The vehicle fled the scene and the victim was pronounced dead by emergency responders.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
