NYPD: Man Suspected Of Robbing Two Businesses In The Bronx

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Police are searching for an armed suspect who allegedly robbed two businesses in the Bronx.

Investigators said the man threatened cashiers in both stores with a gun. In one incident, he reportedly told a female cashier he would shoot her.

Both incidents happened on Saturday, Oct. 6 within 10 minutes of each other at around 8:30 a.m.

In the first, he entered a restaurant in Tremont and told workers that he had a gun. He left without getting any money but then entered a bodega nearby.

He made off with roughly $100 in cash after threatening the cashier.

Surveillance video was able to get a clear image of the suspect, who police describe as a Hispanic man, about 5’9”, with a pony tail and a beard.
