MASSAPEQUA, N.Y. (WCBS 880) -- A 25-year-old Long Island woman is accused of dragging her mother with a car during a fight.

Police said it all started when the two women got into an argument inside their ranch-style home on County Line Road in Massapequa around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday.

The fight moved to the driveway, where Nassau County Police Officer Steven Zacchia said Shaquay Minter allegedly used her car as a weapon and assaulted her 42-year-old mother, WCBS 880's Sophia Hall reported.

"When the victim attempted to remove her pocketbook from the car, Minter backed up and dragged the victim, possibly running her over," Zacchia said.
