NEW YORK (WCBS 880) A 14-year-old Brooklyn girl who went missing last week has been found safe, officials said.

"I’ve just been informed that Jenna Hospedales has been found and is healthy and safe," Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams wrote on Twitter Wednesday morning.

The NYPD also confirmed that the teen was back with her family: "Thanks to all! Jenna is home safe!"

Hospedales went missing last Thursday afternoon. She had been last seen on a G train near Fulton Street and South Elliot Place in Clinton Hill. Police haven't said where she during the time she was missing.

The 14-year-old's family described her as quiet and hardworking. They said they were surprised by her sudden disappearance.

Her aunt Nicole kicked off a search party Sunday outside her school, Brooklyn Technical High School, as volunteers canvassed the area putting up flyers.

“If you see her, just bring Jenna back. That’s it,” she said at the time.
