Police: MTA Employee Charged With Exposing Himself To 2 Young Girls

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- An MTA employee was arrested Sunday after her allegedly exposed himself to two young girls in Brooklyn last week, police said.

Matthew Wohlfhart, 28, of Fort Hamilton, was identified as the suspect.

The first incident was reported at around 4:30 p.m. last Monday near Ridge Boulevard and Fort Hamilton Park. Wohlfhart, driving a gray Toyota minivan, approached a 14-year-old girl and asked for directions. When she began to help him, she saw that he was exposing himself.

On Thursday, he was seen driving a dark SUV and approached an 11-year-old girl at around 4:30 p.m. He asked for directions to McDonald’s, told her to get inside his car and when she looked into the window she saw that his genitals were exposed.

Wohlfhart was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and public lewdness.
