SOUTHBURY, Conn. (WCBS 880) -- A 12th suspect was arrested in Connecticut Monday in the mistaken-identity killing of 15-year-old Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz in the Bronx.

Authorities told CBS2 the suspect was arrested when a vehicle was pulled over on Interstate 84 near Southbury just after 2:30 p.m. Several people were in the vehicle, but troopers determined the driver was a suspect in the murder last month, CBS2 reported.

The teen was dragged out of a deli on the corner of Bathgate Avenue and East 183rd Street and stabbed repeatedly in the neck. He managed to run a block to St. Barnabas Hospital, but he didn’t survive.

Guzman-Feliz dreamed of becoming a police officer and his death shocked the community.

Eleven others, including an alleged leader of the Trinitarios gang, have been been charged in his death and police said more arrests are likely.
