19-Year-Old Woman Slashed In Unprovoked Attack On 6 Train

Suspect in 6 Train Slashing



NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — The NYPD is looking for a man wanted for questioning in connection with an attack on a Bronx subway train.

Police said a man walked up to a 19-year-old woman on a northbound 6 train as it was approaching Brook Avenue around 10 p.m. Wednesday and slashed her in the face and arms in an unprovoked attack.

She was taken to Lincoln Hospital in serious condition but stable condition.

The suspect ran away when the train doors opened at the Brooke Avenue station. 

No arrests have been made.
