NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- A Hasidic man was attacked by four men while he walked down a sidewalk in Brooklyn on Tuesday night.

Surveillance video, shared by former New York Assemblyman Dov Hikind and the Williamsburg Shomrim, shows the men punching the victim in the head on Warsoff Place between Flushing and Park avenues in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

CBS2 reports the suspects told the 24-year-old victim, "Give me everything you've got," and then ran off with his cell phone after he dropped it on the ground.

"This cannot go on! We will not tolerate this," Hikind said.

The attack is the latest in a string of recent incidents involving Jewish victims in Brooklyn, but police say they are not treating this as a hate crime because no anti-Semitic slurs were made during the attack.

No arrests have been made.

The Anti Defamation League of New York and Jersey is reaching out to law enforcement to get more information on the attack.

Meanwhile, Hikind is holding a rally this Sunday at City Hall Park to fight anti-Semitism.
