No Injuries After Bus Bursts In Flames In New Jersey

UNION, N.J. (WCBS 880) -- A bus burst into flames on I-78 in Union, New Jersey Thursday morning, slowing the morning commute.

The bus caught fire at approximately 7 a.m. in the eastbound express lanes of the highway, just east of Springfield Avenue.

Officials shut down the eastbound express lanes on I-78 with only the right lane open.

The bus is operated by Trans Bridge Lines and runs daily service from western New Jersey and Pennsylvania to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York, acccording to a report from WABC7.

The passengers were picked up by another bus and continued on to their destination.

No injureies have been reported.
