NEW YORK (WCBS 880) --  Police on Wednesday arrested a suspect in the fatal shooting of a worker at a deli in the Bronx last week.

Investigators say 33-year-old Leonard Nieves walked into the store at 137th street and Brook Avenue in the Mott Haven section on Valentine's Day and fired his gun without saying a word.

Officials say Nieves struck 34-year-old Yahya Almuntser twice, killing him.

Nieves was charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.

As police led him from a station house in handcuffs, a reporter asked him about the shooting, to which Nieves responded "I don't know what you're talking about".
