NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- From Crown Heights to the Upper East Side, there has been a pattern of  anti-Semitic attacks over the past few days with little to no answers around who is responsible.

Police have made one arrest in the attack that occurred on the Upper East Side on Monday where a man allegedly punched and kicked a 65-year-old jewish man while making anti-Semitic remarks.

Officials charged 28-year-old, Steven Jorge of Miami with assault as a hate crime.

There have been other assaults that police are looking into that were reported on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Both Governor Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio have released strongly worded statements around the attacks, with the governor calling them repugnant to our values and the mayor saying anti-Semitism can't just be condemned. It has to be confronted.
