NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — A Bronx police officer is accused of groping a teenager while she was in cuffs in the back of his cruiser last month.

According to a notice of claim filed on Monday, the 14-year-old was arrested in late November in the Soundview section of the borough after some sort of argument over a cell phone.

In the claim, the teenager alleges the officer “peeled (her) jacket back aggressively and began to touch and grab (her).”

The girl's mother says she was detained when she showed up to the station house but never charged.

The family is reportedly seeking $4 million for emotional damages.

It’s unclear if any action has been taken against the officer accused of groping the girl.
