Police Search For Man Who Shoved Person Onto Subway Tracks

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — Police are searching for a man who pushed another person onto the tracks at the Union Square subway station Wednesday morning.

The incident happened around 9 a.m. at the N, Q, R and W platform inside the station.

According to police, the two men had been arguing on the platform for some time before the incident escalated.

The man who ended up on the tracks was not hit by a train and was pulled to safety by EMS.

The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries relating to the fall.

The suspect ran off in an unknown direction.
