NEW YORK (WCBS 880) --  The NYPD is searching for a gunman they said walked up on a 19-year-old and his 21-year-old brother in the Bronx on Sunday night.

At approximately 9:12 p.m., outside of 1725 Randall Avenue in the Soundview housing complex, officials discovered 19-year-old Stephon Brown had been shot in the back and his brother shot in the arm.

Both men were taken to Jacobi Hospital where Stephon died. His brother remains in stable condition, police say.

No arrests have been made and an investigation remains ongoing.
