Two Newborns Found Dead At New Jersey Recycling Center

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (WCBS 880) — Police in New Jersey say they discovered the bodies of two newborns at a recycling center on Wednesday.

New Brunswick Police officials say officers were called to the facility and found one infant around 9:20 a.m., and as they continued to investigate, uncovered the body of another baby about six hours later.

It remains unclear how the children died. The Middlesex County Medical Examiner is expected to perform autopsies.

Authorities did not say if they children were related and did not release more details about their identities.

The investigation remains ongoing and no arrests have been made.
