NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — The NYPD has released a surveillance image of a woman wanted for threatening to throw a Jewish woman onto the train tracks last month.

The incident happened at the Utica Avenue station in Crown Heights on Dec. 2.

Police say the suspect went on an anti-Semitic rant before making the threat.

She and the victim then boarded the 4 train and the yelling continued until the victim got off at the Bowling Green station.

Police say a bystander was able to use a cellphone to take a video of the shouting woman.

While no one was injured in the incident, police are remaining vigilant given the recent string of anti-Semitic acts in the Tri-State area.

Anyone with information in regard to the identity of this female is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
