Police ID Suspect In Bronx Attack That Left Man In Coma

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Police have released the name of a suspect wanted in connection with a beating in the Bronx that reportedly left a man in a coma.

Shocking video released by police shows the 38-year-old victim being punched and kicked repeatedly in the face and head during the attack, which happened early Sunday morning on West 183rd Street near Aqueduct Avenue.

The suspect has been identified by authorities as 22-year-old Nilson Castillo.

Police say he had a brief conversation with the victim before beating and robbing him.

The victim remains in the hospital in critical condition with head and neck trauma.
