NJ Warns Of Measles Exposure In Monmouth County Restaurant

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — The New Jersey Health Department is issuing a new measles warning.

The department says customers and workers may have been exposed to the disease at a restaurant in Monmouth County.

A Middlesex resident with a suspected case of measles was at Rosalita’s Roadside Cantina on Route 9 in Englishtown on Friday, April 19.

Officials say anyone who was at the restaurant between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. should contact their doctor immediately.

Anyone who has not been vaccinated or has not had measles is at risk.

Twenty-two states have reported measles cases.

The vast majority are in the orthodox Jewish communities in New York City and Rockland County.
