July 28, 2018 - 10:58 am

LOS ANGELES (WCBS 880) -- A Connecticut man accused of killing a Queens nurse is now suspected of being a serial killer.

NYPD investigators tracked 27-year-old Danueal Drayton across the country after the July 17 strangling death of 29-year-old Samantha Stewart.

The pair met on the Tinder dating app and we inside Stewart’s Springfield Gardens apartment when the attack occurred.

Dryaton was arrested in Los Angeles Tuesday after police say he sexually assaulted and tried to strangle a female hostage.

Drayton then confessed to a number of other murders in New York and Connecticut, according to the Daily News.

It’s unclear if he actually committed the crimes, or was just speaking erratically.

If convicted, Drayton could face 23 years to life in prison.
