NYPD Search For Suspect In Attempted Queens Rape Attack

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- NYPD officials are searching for an attempted rape suspect in the South Ozone Park section of  Queens.

The attack happened just after 10 p.m. on April 14 when a man came up behind a 25-year-old woman near 131 Street and Rockaway Boulevard.

The suspect shoved the victim against a car and threw her to the ground attempting to sexually assault her.

The victim fought back and the suspect fled but was seen running to a white suv and driving off in an unknown direction.

The person wanted for question is described as a male, and was last seem wearing track pants with a white stripe, a dark hooded shirt and black sneakers with white trim.
