Police: Bank Teller Stabbed In Neck With Needle At Manhattan Bank

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- A man stabbed a bank teller in the neck with a needle when she asked him to leave a bank in Manhattan last week, police said.

The attack took place at a Citibank near Broadway and West 32nd Street in midtown last Friday.

The man was reportedly trying to lay out a lawn chair in the entrance to the bank when the teller asked him to leave.

Police said the man stabbed the 58-year-old woman in the neck with a hypodermic needle.

The woman was taken to an urgent care facility. Her condition wasn’t immediately known.
