Police Search For Man Accused Of Groping Teen On Subway Twice

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- The NYPD is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a man who they say grabbed a 13-year-old Bronx girl's leg on the subway twice in two weeks.

The first incident happened on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at approximately 7:15 a.m. on the 7 train as it entered the Queensboro Plaza Station in Long Island City.

The second occurred on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at approximately 7:15 a.m. on the northbound 5 train at the 86th Street Station in Manhattan, police said.

Police say they are not sure if the man was following the teen or if they happen to have the same morning commute.

Officials have released a photo of the suspect in hopes that someone can help identify him.

He is described as a male with a light complexion, 5'8"-5'10"inches tall, weighing about 200 lbs and partially bald.
