Police Search For Man Who Wrote Anti-Semitic Message On Harlem Building

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — Police are looking for a suspect in connection to an anti-Semitic vandalism incident in Harlem.

A man wearing a shirt adorned with the word “Israel” is accused of spray panting anti-Semitic phrases on the front of a Harlem medical office.

Police say the vandalism took place around 11 p.m. Monday. The words were 7-inches tall and sprawled 18-inches across the building located on West 124th Street and Malcom X Blvd.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-9 and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue Adidas jersey with "Israel’ on the back, black jeans and black boots.

The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident. Anyone with information in regard to the identity of this male is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
