NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — Police are looking for a man who they say assaulted officers while trying to evacuate people from a fire.

The incident happened on Tuesday just before 5 p.m. in the Bronx, according to authorities.

An 18-year-old and his mother, who is accused of ripping a body camera off an officer’s uniform and throwing it on the ground, were both arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief, among others.

Police say amid the chaos another man threw a container of milk at officers. Authorities are now asking for the public in help locating the suspect.
