Police: Teen Stabbed, Robbed By Group In Times Square Subway

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – A teenager was stabbed and robbed by a group of people in a brazen attack at a Times Square subway station this weekend, police say.

The 18-year-old victim was in a stairwell at the subway station near 42nd Street and Seventh Avenue when the gang of at least seven men attacked, according to the NYPD.

One of the suspects pulled out a knife and stabbed the teen in the stomach during the robbery Saturday morning, police said.

Others in the group stole the victim’s coat and book bag, which contained a UPS vest, according to the NYPD.

Police released surveillance video of the suspects Sunday.

Authorities said all of the suspects are in their late teens or early 20s.
