Taco Bell Is Serving Up a Taco Bisque This Thanksgiving
Soup, it’s what’s for Thanksgiving.
At least according to Taco Bell, as they’re recommending fans blend their tacos into a bisque to spice up the traditional holiday feast, reported CNN.
In an internal blog, the fast-food chain reveals that every year they have a Friendsgiving dinner where employees serve innovative recipes based on established Taco Bell menu items.
After previously highlighting interesting choices like Nacho Fries Au Gratin, Mexican Rice Arancini and Sauce Packet Flavored Butter, this year’s pièce de résistance is Rolled Chicken Tacos Bisque.
“Want to bring The Bell to your own Friendsgiving?” the company asked in the post. “Try making the Rolled Chicken Tacos Bisque using the recipe below.”
To start, brave cooks will need to pick up Taco Bell’s Rolled Chicken Taco Party Pack, which consists of six Rolled Chicken Tacos and six Crunchy Tacos.
After simmering tomatoes and other seasonings in chicken broth, the Rolled Chicken Tacos are chopped up and added to the mix. After cooking for ten minutes, let the entire concoction cool for five minutes.
Add heavy whipping cream and then pour all of it into a blender where it will allegedly transform into the creamy soup du jour. The Taco Bell smoothie is born!
In lieu of bread, you can use any remaining Rolled Chicken Tacos to dip, if you dare.
Taco Bell is also encouraging anyone who attempts the dish to share the recipe with the hashtag #RolledChickenTacosBisque.
As you reflect on things to be grateful this year, here’s hoping your Rolled Chicken Taco Bisque turns out delicious. And if not, hopefully your Aunt Debra brought her green bean casserole.
