NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — The city’s 911 call center in the Bronx has been crawling with bedbugs for two weeks now.

The Daily News reports dogs found the bugs in a lobby couch, in a vendor area, and other common areas, but the NYPD has yet to pull out its personnel to fumigate.

The call center employs about 300 NYPD personnel, 120 fire dispatch and 120 EMS personnel every day, the report said.

The union representing FDNY operators filed a complaint with the Department of Labor Tuesday.

A representative told the News the union has considered pulling all its employees for the building, but the pest have only been found in the NYPD parts of the building.
