NEW YORK (WCBS 880/AP) -- New York's largest lottery jackpot winner has been revealed.

Robert Bailey, 67, of Harlem, has "faithfully'' played numbers that a family member gave him over 25 years ago.

The retired federal government employee finally bought his lucky ticket at the West Harlem Deli on Fifth Avenue for the Powerball drawing on Oct. 27.

“I buy my tickets at three or four different different stores. It was raining that day so I went to the deli to get out of the rain and I bought my ticket there," he told New York Lottery's Yolanda Vega.

The winning numbers were 8, 12, 13, 19, 27 and the Powerball 4.

"When I saw the 8 and the 12 I was in shock and I just kept going across... and sure enough I was blessed. When I saw the 4 I just was in shock," Bailey said.

Bailey is splitting the $687.8 million Powerball jackpot with one other winner from Iowa.
He was presented a ceremonial check for $343.8 million on Wednesday and said he will be taking the winnings in a lump sum: over $198 million. After taxes that's roughly $125 million.
He plans to get a house for his mother, "with a little land around it.''
Bailey also hopes to travel: He says Las Vegas comes to mind.

Bailey said he'll continue playing the same numbers.
