NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — Fall is in full swing in the Tri-State area, meaning there’s plenty of autumn festival, pumpkin patches and haunted houses to explore.

While we love a good fall activity, that doesn’t have to be the only thing you do this weekend.

From New York City’s annual “Cupcake Run” to a festival celebrating all things coffee, here’s our top picks for things to do this weekend.

New York Ghost Walking Tour

If you’re looking to get into the Halloween spirit – what better way than to go ghost hunting in the heart of New York City? This walking tour will take you through some of the most notable locations in the city that are speculated to be haunted by a number of ghosts – you may even see Mark Twain himself.

The New York Coffee Festival

Blood Manor Haunted House

Halloween is fast approaching and there’s no better way to celebrate than challenging yourself to make it through New York City’s scariest haunted house. The 10,000-square foot house of horrors is designed to be the “most intense, creep and scream inducing” haunted house in all five boroughs. Do you have what it takes to get through it all?

The biggest block party in New York City will take place in Downtown Brooklyn this weekend in celebration of public schools in the five boroughs. Future Festival will feature a variety of activities that celebrates the 1.1 million public school students across NYC, and the tireless efforts of the teachers, principals, and parents that make public schools what they are.
