NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- A memorial to the NYPD's fallen got three more plaques on Saturday.

What is normally a quiet part of Flushing, saw attention from the NYPD's top brass and the people they care most about; the families of fallen officers.

Three names were added to the memorial inside the North Presbyterian Church's memorial garden; Sgt. Paul Tuzzolo, Det. Randolph Holder, and Det. Miosotis Familia.

"Today cops all across the NYPD and all across the nation continue the work that they started, there's no more powerful tribute to their memory than that," Commissioner James O'Neil said.

Lisa Tuzzolo held her two boys at the ceremony. She said her strength comes from her husband's colleagues.

"I couldn't do it without the courage of everyone in uniform here today," she said.
