NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Police have made two arrests in connection to a string of attacks on MTA bus drivers in Brooklyn.

The NYPD confirmed Andre Chandler, 46, was taken into custody on Friday.

He is accused of spraying an unknown substance on two separate B15 buses on Thursday, Aug. 23.

The first incident was reported at around 4:00 a.m., and the 45-year-old bus driver had to be taken to Brookdale Hospital after being sprayed. Later on in the day, the suspect struck again injuring a 40-year-old driver, 40-year-old passenger and 62-year-old passenger.

Chandler faces a slew of charges including four counts of assault, two counts of menacing and four counts of reckless endangerment.

Earlier in the week, authorities said they arrested Sherrod Jackson, 34, after he allegedly smashed in the window of B15 bus and attacked a bus driver on Monday.

Jackson was arrested Thursday in the Halsey Street subway station at around 8:30 p.m., after a token booth clerk recognized him from a wanted poster.

He had previously been arrested for selling illegal swipes inside MTA subway stations.
