November 01, 2018 - 7:19 am

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- It was a scary and violent Halloween night in the city.

A gunman wearing a mask from the movie "Scream" is wanted in connection with an overnight shooting in Washington Heights. PIX11 reports investigators initially believed it was a Michael Myers mask. Police say shots were fired just before 2 a.m. on West 163rd Street.

A 17-year-old girl was hit in the stomach and taken to Harlem Hospital, and a 21-year-old man was struck several times.

Both victims are expected to survive.

It's not clear if they were the intended targets or why the suspect started shooting.

So far no arrests have been made.

Earlier in the day, a 14-year-old boy was shot in the mouth in Flatbush, Brooklyn.

Elsewhere in the city, a gunman fired into a crowd in the Bronx striking a woman in the leg.

One of three stabbings in the city occurred at a Queens barber shop where a man wearing a ski mask with lights on it stabbed a man.
