NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – A water main break flooded an Upper West Side subway station, causing major transit headaches for straphangers and drivers Sunday morning.

The main broke around 102nd Street and Central Park West at 7:30 a.m.

Video shows flooded tracks at the 103rd Street subway station. Other video shows water pouring into the street across from Central Park at 102nd Street.

The break led to the suspension of C service and the partial suspension of A and D service between 59th Street and 125th Street. Service was restored with heavy delays around 12:30 p.m.

More info on service changes can be found at the MTA site here.

It’s not known when service will be fully restored.

Just days ago, on Monday, another water main break flooded the area between West 61st and West 65th streets at Broadway and Columbus Avenue, snarling service on the 1, 2 and 3 lines.
