We will also hear from Sam Gimbel, co-founder and CPO of Clark Inc., the fast growing first-ever digital platform designed for tutors. You will also meet Greenwich native Jarrett McGovern, Co-Founder of RISE Brewing Co., a company using a unique technology to help them stand out in the cold brew field. Rounding out the panel will be Cordy Gould Kelly, Co-Founder of Kelly's Four Plus, a family run granola company that developed their recipe in the family kitchen in New Canaan.

Nolan Farris
Nolan Farris, Senior Vice President of Sales, Indeed

Nolan Farris has spent 17 years in the recruitment space with a focus on sales and sales management. As the Senior Vice President of Sales at Indeed, Nolan leads the global Sales team of over 2500 sales professionals who sell pay-for-performance advertising to direct employers, staffing organizations and job boards. His team focuses on driving a clear go-to-market message into the marketplace in a metrics-driven sales culture. Nolan has focused much of his time building an environment where his sales people can thrive. Recently, Dale Carnegie, Indeed’s Sales and Client Services training partner, granted Indeed its prestigious Leadership Award, which recognizes organizations that put their people first.

Prior to joining Indeed, Nolan spent nine years at Yahoo! in various sales and sales management roles in Boston, MA, and New York, NY. He also spent two years with the Change Management HR team at Accenture in Boston, MA, and New York, NY. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Union College.​

Sam Gimbel
Sam Gimbel CPO and Co-Founder, Clark Inc.

Sam Gimbel has a plan to help the 4.4 million underemployed educators in the United States by offering them the economic empowerment they deserve. Sam is the co-founder and CPO of Clark, the first platform for the $100 billion global tutoring market. Clark offers a platform for tutoring centers to run their end-to-end operations, from scheduling to billing to session feedback, and a way for parents to find tutors, pay for sessions and understand their child’s progress. Since launching, Clark has helped thousands people get access to income opportunities and personalized learning.

Sam has a background as a product leader in the NYC tech startup scene. His previous lives include Product at Blue Ridge Labs, DigitalOcean, DramaFever, and Hashable. 

Jarrett McGovern
Jarrett McGovern is Co-Founder of Rise Brewing Co.

Jarrett’s mission to create the best-tasting coffee imaginable began in 2014 when he began nitro cold brewing coffee in his apartment with his co-founders and childhood best friends, Grant Gyesky and Justin Weinstein. They set out to brew with only the freshest organic ingredients they could find and achieve incredible taste. In 2015, they went door to door in New York City, introducing New Yorkers to “Nitro Cold Brew Coffee” and now RISE sets out to share their coffee with the rest of the world. His current focus is on product development and branding.

Cordy Gould Kelly is the CEO of Kelly’s Four Plus Granola.  She has four kids, Nate, Will, Charlie and Eleanor. Cordy grew up in Denver, she, and her husband John raised their children in New Canaan, CT, where they still live. After attending Williams College and the Yale School of Management, Cordy worked in the financial industry for four years before starting her family. Over the past 25 years, Cordy has been a leader in a variety of volunteer community service, education, and non-profit organizations.

Cordy is responsible for the formulation of every flavor of Four Plus Granola.  She still bakes every batch and assures that we meet her standards of producing the best tasting granola!
